The Beginning of our Alaska Highway Journey, Late May 2023
According to John Steinbeck from Travels with Charlie in Search of America, “many a trip continues long after movement in time and space have ceased.” And now I’ve had the winter to refleck and dream of when and how I’ll be back to Alaska.

The Northern British Columbia Wood Bision
I pulled over a few times to watch and take pictures of the Wood Bison. The Collared Bull had a pissing match with I. When I pulled over to take this picture, I viewed the herd safely about 25 yards away right next to the camper. Before I jumped back in the truck right in the middle of nowhere right in front of the three bull Wood Bison I took some time time to pee. Well starting with the collarded bull he did the same to me, followed by his fellow bulls all peeing at me. It was time to leave.

Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park We spent the night at the Provincial Park Campground. All the Campgrounds in British Columbia and the Yukon where beautiful and well taken care of. This is a can not miss hot spring.

On our drive home, overnight at Revelstoke Reservoir. Wondered Revelstoke after a all-day smokey drive through B.C. Then the Revelstoke folks at a Revelstoke Brewery recommend a great remote spot to Park/Camp North of the Revelstoke Reservoir Dam.
